Tooth-Colored Fillings and Bonding

Placed in a single visit

There are many different types of filling materials available today in dentistry. The most common filling material we use in our office is “Composite Resin for front and back teeth. Composite fillings are very esthetic (natural-looking), and they come in a variety of shades to allow Dr. Sutton to customize the shade to each patient. Composite fillings also provide good durability and resistance to fracture in small-to-mid size restorations that need to withstand moderate chewing pressure. They are bonded or adhesively held in a cavity, often allowing Dr. Sutton to make a more conservative repair to the tooth.

Teeth and Tissue Reshaping

Remove jagged tooth edges or minor reshaping of teeth and gums for improved balance and esthetics, or to reduce a gummy smile

Teeth Whitening (Bleaching)

We make custom-fit bleaching trays in office for optimal bleaching results and reduced sensitivity.

This is a procedure to brighten individual teeth that have darkened over time (for example due to trauma or a previous root canal). bleach solution can be placed inside a single tooth that has had a root canal, and replaced as needed until the desired result is achieved. Internal bleaching cannot change the shade of porcelain or composite restorations.

Cosmetic Crowns

We work hard to provide crowns that appear very natural and well-blended with your existing dentition. There are three types of cosmetic crowns we use depending on functional and esthetic demands that will be placed upon them.

  • All Porcelain Crowns

  • Porcelain Fused to Zirconium Crowns

  • Porcelain Fused to High Noble Metal Crowns

Cosmetic Veneers

We offer two types of veneers to our patients:

  • Composite veneers (hand-sculpted by Dr. Sutton in a single visit)

  • Porcelain veneers ((hand-crafted by a dental lab technician)

Gold Crowns

Gold alloy is still used in dentistry as a very reliable material when tooth size/space limitations are present and esthetics are not the primary concern. Dr. Sutton and his staff will discuss the various materials available and help you decide what is best for you.
